Shelley Farouse is Executive Assistant of the College of Registered Nurses of Nova Scotia and has provided support and guidance to Chief Executive Officers, Presidents and Council for over twenty years. Her recent leadership work has included completion of a Masters Certificate in Project Management and a secondment to the One Nursing Regulator Formation Team. This project team will oversee the legislative, governance, and operational transition of the College of Registered Nurses and the College of Licensed Practical Nurses to a single regulatory body for nurses in Nova Scotia. That role will include working with the two boards, one Carver and one not, to adopt an advanced Policy Governance model. She participated in he Policy Governance® Academy in 2004.
